Led by Sean Goddard, we provide outcome-driven psychiatry and whole-body brain health care.

Outcome-Driven Psychiatry and Whole-Body Brain Health
At Viking Psychiatry & Wellness, we believe mental health care should help people feel better and function better, not simply manage a diagnosis. Many individuals seeking support today are not only experiencing anxiety or depression. They often describe feeling mentally foggy, emotionally disconnected, exhausted, overwhelmed, or unable to fully engage in daily life. Our goal is to help reset and regulate the brain so patients can reconnect with themselves and regain clarity, emotional balance, and motivation. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we focus on outcomes people can feel in everyday life, such as clearer thinking, steadier emotions, improved energy, better sleep, and stronger performance at home and work.
Brain health does not exist in isolation. Sleep, hormones, metabolism, inflammation, stress physiology, and nervous system regulation all influence how the brain functions. Because of this, our approach considers the full picture of each patient’s health. By combining modern psychiatric care with thoughtful, individualized strategies, Viking Psychiatry & Wellness focuses on restoring brain function and supporting meaningful improvements in overall well-being.

Sean Goddard, MSN, APRN, NP-C, AGPCNP-BC, is the founder of Viking Psychiatry & Wellness, a national speaker, educator, clinician, and author committed to changing the way people experience mental health and wellness care. He is passionate about helping people find personalized, evidence-based options that create meaningful change in how they think, feel, function, and live.
As the founder of Viking Psychiatry & Wellness, Sean has built a practice focused on innovation, access, and outcomes. He is especially dedicated to serving those who may have felt overlooked, misunderstood, or discouraged after struggling to find answers through traditional models of care alone.
Sean’s professional interests include advanced psychiatric treatment, interventional approaches, brain health, neuroplasticity, and whole-person wellness strategies that support both mental and physical well-being. He has completed advanced training in ketamine therapy and psychedelic-assisted therapy and has pursued education in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, reflecting his commitment to staying at the forefront of evolving treatment models. His approach is grounded in both science and curiosity, with a strong respect for the lived experience of each individual seeking care.
In addition to his clinical leadership, Sean is a national speaker and educator who is passionate about sharing knowledge with both professionals and the broader community. He has spoken on innovative treatment approaches, emerging developments in psychiatry, and the importance of expanding access to effective care. Through speaking, teaching, and advocacy, he works to reduce stigma, challenge outdated assumptions, and encourage a more hopeful, informed view of mental health treatment and wellness.
Sean is also the author of Blushbottoms, a children’s book centered on belonging, worth, love, and resilience. Through this work, he extends his message beyond the clinical setting, creating stories that reflect hope, connection, and the reminder that being different does not make someone less valuable. His writing carries the same heart that shapes his work: the belief that people of all ages deserve to feel seen, valued, and supported.
Whether through patient care, education, leadership, or writing, Sean’s mission remains the same: to help people find hope, discover options, and move toward lives that feel healthier, fuller, and more connected. Through Viking Psychiatry & Wellness and his broader work, he continues to advocate for a more innovative, compassionate, and meaningful approach to care.

The Viking Psychiatry & Wellness Difference
Mental health care should do more than manage symptoms. Many individuals seek support because they feel mentally foggy, emotionally disconnected, exhausted, or unable to function the way they once did. At Viking Psychiatry & Wellness, our focus is on restoring brain function so patients can regain clarity, emotional balance, and motivation. Rather than focusing solely on diagnostic labels, our care centers on outcomes people can feel in everyday life, including clearer thinking, steadier emotions, improved energy, better sleep, and stronger performance at home and at work.
Our approach recognizes that brain health is influenced by many interconnected systems within the body. Sleep quality, hormones, metabolism, inflammation, stress physiology, and nervous system regulation all play a role in how people think and feel. By combining advanced interventional psychiatry treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Spravato®, IV ketamine therapy, and Exomind with thoughtful medication management and personalized care planning, Viking Psychiatry & Wellness provides modern psychiatric care designed to support meaningful and lasting improvements in overall well-being.
